PFff, that is a tough one to take. You drive along the Rhine and then you leave the valley towards Lutzingen. And how! The first part is steep, but then you have to take the small road to the right and that is where the section starts. You are already looking at the wall, with a few hundred meters of 20% or just below. After a few hundred metres, the gradient levels off to 13 metres and that feels like a relief.
A real calf biter that you must have done once!
PFff, dat is even doorbijten. Zo rij je lekker relaxt langs de Rijn en dan ga je het dal uit richting Lutzingen. En hoe. Het eerste stukje is al stijl, maar dan blijkt dat je het straatje naar rechts moet nemen en daar begint het segment pas. Je kijkt al direct tegen de muur op, met een paar honderd meter van 20% of net daaronder. Effe doorbijten, want na die paar honderd meter vlakt het af naar 13% en dat voelt dan al als een hele opluchting.
Echt een kuitenbijtertje dat je eens gedaan moet hebben!!
