I did this "accidentally" a few years ago in order to slightly cut the curve of the Moselle and enjoy the view. In clear weather, it is definitely enjoyable as you ride mostly at altitude, even after the climb if you keep following the road. Besides, it's lovely and quiet cycling.
Ik heb deze "per ongeluk" een paar jaar geleden gedaan om zo de bocht van de Moezel enigszins af te snijden en te genieten van het uitzicht. Bij helder weer is het zeker genieten want je rijdt veelal op hoogte, ook na de klim als je de weg blijft volgen. Daarnaast is het heerlijk rustig fietsen.
