From the level crossing, the main road takes a nice left turn upwards, after which you turn right into a small road. What follows is a relaxed but relatively long climb up a narrow and very nice tarmac road along a golf course. The quality of the tarmac varies and is sometimes very coarse, but it is still rideable. At the top, near the houses, there is a tougher bit after which it is off to the T-junction.
