Lines Hill is something of a local institution, being much more respected than the nearby climb to Cublington, despite being slightly easier on paper. Like the Cublington climb, this one may surprise you with its steepness, and that steepness takes a while to both ramp up and roll off. However the views from the top are pretty amazing, and make the climbing well worth the effort. It's a gated road, but I've never seen the gates closed.
