Until 2010 it was regularly one of the climbs on the final circuit of the Brabant Arrow, together with the Bruine Put (Beersel side) and the Alsemberg. It was also certainly the easiest one. There was nothing particularly remarkable about this climb, except for its "historical" aspect.
