Nice and steep start. The spur is not so tricky anymore. We always take it by first descending a bit in the Tenbroekstraat and then you have to be careful not to pass it 'flying'. Often you are then also far too heavy so if you know in advance that this one is coming you have an edge with your cycling friends ;)
Mooi en steil begin. De uitloper is niet meer zo lastig. Wij nem18en hem altijd door eerst een stukje afdaling in de Tenbroekstraat en dan moet je opletten dat je er niet voorbij 'vliegt'. Vaak sta je dan ook nog veel te zwaar dus als je op voorhand weet dat deze eraan komt heb je een streepje voor bij je fietsvrienden ;)
Very steep start flattens out after a few hundred metres. This is followed by a very nice spur past a brewery, among other places.
Heel stijl begin vlakt na enkele honderden meters af. Nadien volgt een heel mooie uitloper langst onder meer een brouwerij.
I climbed this morning following the "Groene Gordelroute". Despite the steep start, which can be surprising, the climb is easy. Pleasant setting.
Montée effectuée ce matin en suivant la « Groene Gordelroute ». Malgré le début assez raide qui peut surprendre, la côte se grimpe sans trop de problème. Cadre agréable.
Make sure you have small enough gears when turning on the climb. The first few meters are quite steep. After that it levels off when you pass the brewery. A nice climb in the area!
Zorg dat je bij het opdraaien van de klim klein genoeg geschakeld staat. De eerste meters zijn namelijk vrij steil. Daarna vlakt het uit als je langs de brouwerij passeert. Een leuke beklimming in de omgeving!
