A very nice and short climb, ideal for full throttle!
There are hardly any cars, but still you have to watch out. The road is sometimes covered with branches of the surrounding trees, a slip is quickly made.
I use this part of the climb as a shortcut from Aarschot to the less trafficked village of Gelrode (the road in the direction of Leuven should be avoided at all costs; it is much too busy and the "bicycle path" doesn't work at all).
Een zeer fijn en kort klimmetje, ideaal om volgas op te vlammen!
Er komen amper auto's, maar toch is het steeds opletten geblazen. De weg ligt soms bedekt met takjes van de omringende bomen, een slippertje is snel gemaakt.
Ik gebruik dit stukje klim als doorsteek vanuit Aarschot naar het verkeersluwere Gelrode (de steenweg richting Leuven is ten allen tijde te mijden; veel te druk en het "fietspad" bolt voor geen meter).

Very narrow but drivable asphalt road and then a nice descent and a little further you have many climbs
Zeer leuk kort klimmetje in het Hageland in Gelrode met het venijn in de staart wat de laatste 100 meter val je echt stil.
Zeer smal maar goed berijdbaar asfaltweggetje en daarna een mooie afdaling en wat verder heb je vele beklimmingen
