This area is not really famous for any significant climbs, so I was pleasantly surprised when I found this one. Although it is quite short it provides some excellent exercise.
This is not an ordinary hill - in the early Middle Ages, it used to be some kind of a fortified settlement, towering over the area. Now the only remnants of that are some overgrown earthen walls on the top of it. To see them you have to turn from the main road onto a new, freshly paved road. The surface is made of some kind of bricks - they are smooth and nice to ride.
It is less than a half kilometre, but it is steep enough to make you sweat! Try it if you're around!
