The name Remco chalked several times on the tarmac made me suspect worse, but in the end the climb is not so bad. It is very constant and that makes it pleasant to climb. Cycling between forests is always a plus and that makes this a great climb too!... read more

This is a nice climb to do in between. There is little traffic. It is a quiet climb with a bit of forest and a bit of meadow. The percentages are very even. Although it is not exactly a climb to come home with and tell great stories about. Just look at the Tour of Belgium 2021. The Ardennes stage, classically also the queen stage, arrived in Hamoir and Les Kimones was the last climb of the day. The stage winner of this 'queen stage': top sprinter Caleb Ewan. Not what you would expect from such'a stage, lol. Surely that indicates that the climb is not too difficult. Although the control of the Lotto team and the safe position of leader Evenepoel have also contributed to that sad ending.

Beautiful surroundings and very nice climb.
Tip: Drive to Verlaine-sur-Ourthe and cross the river to Sy for a break. Beautiful! (And therefore 5 stars for the climb :-) )

Prachtig! (en hierdoor ook 5 sterren voor de klim :-) )

Nice even climb. Meandering through the forest and hardly any traffic. So you can climb in complete silence, delicious.

Mooie gelijkmatige klim.
