For those who like the challenge in % here is a small street which on the top has a point of view on your right, if not what to say it's hard :)

Turning off the main road and immediately bang uphill, bit the hallmark of the area. Raking up through the narrow street and bends and then another stretch on a road that starts to look more like a gravel strip at times. Fun to do once, though, and beautiful surroundings a bit behind the summit.

Short, but ultra steep climb near the banks of the Meuse. Had added this one to my Flèche Wallonne ride, also to be found on climbfinder.com.
The road surface is very good by Walloon standards. Once at the top, the road is blocked to prevent traffic going downhill. The roadblock (see picture) is not a problem for cyclists. If you are in the neighbourhood, don't leave it there. The legs will be on fire anyway....

The climb is now forbidden to cars. On the other hand, it is still passable by bike. The information on the site is correct, however the hill goes on for another hundred meters or so at 10%. You just have to be careful at the crossroads, which you can see clearly on the map, even if the place is not very busy. At the top of the whole (so continuing the climb after the crossroads), turn right for a few metres and admire the view over the Meuse valley and the town of Amay.
From a sporty point of view, the gradients are really high, even on foot, but it is possible to manage because the hardest part is in the first part. It's short and fortunately it's a resistance effort.
For the amateurs, there are a lot of similar walls nearby. The Huy wall is only 10km away, the same for the Cherave street, the Riga wall (22%) even closer. At the entrance of Machin there are some nice raidars like the old third of Huy or the climb of Triffoys (road as little known as easy). The difference in altitude of each climb is small, between 90 and 160m, but the repetition wears a man out. 1000m of high % gradient in 50km are quite possible in the area.
