Les Arcs, Arc 1600, 1800, 1900, 2000 and I forget.
In type of mountain architecture it is not the best and some inhabitants of Bourg St Maurice have seen with a bad eye the construction of the 1st station (Arc 1600) in 1968.
It is true that this station (the only one visible from the valley) served by the funicular, somewhat denature the mountain. I really don't know what the guy who made the Wikipedia page finds beautiful because it is noted "The resort of Les Arcs is perfectly integrated into the mountain landscape, and is distinguished by a creative architecture"

Start at the roundabout ( Brasserie le Tonneau Bourg St Maurice )
Take direction Seez, les Arcs then a little after the shopping center take the D119 to never leave it,
The first 15km will lead you to the roundabout of ARC 1800, the road winds in wide laces in a slope between 6 and 7 %, with only a few views on the valley because of the abundant vegetation which provides a saving shade on hot days.
Continue towards Arc 1600, the road becomes monotonous, it's a desert crossing, fortunately the landscapes are there to save the day, the vegetation is scarce, on the left you can see the road to the Petit St Bernard pass and the village of La Rosiere.
The approach is long before the attack of the last slopes that take you to Arc 2000 (2100), arrival on a parking lot, it's sad, it's not beautiful, there is nothing. Enjoy the view on the Mont-Blanc.
PS : Be careful on the last part there is a paravalanche with a closed part which create almost complete darkness for a short time, not very reassuring if you don't have any light (don't forget to lower your sunglasses).
In conclusion: Even if the % are not very difficult I did not find this climb terrible, the length, the monotony, the traffic and the poor state of the road undermined my morale.

Nice and quiet climb of Bourg st. Maurice! Here and there some tough parts, but generally good to do. Is certainly fun to this climb to tackle, if you're in the neighborhood. From the top in Les Arcs 2000 beautiful view on the top of Mont Blanc

Mooie en rustige beklimming van Bourg st. Maurice!

Les Arcs is a great climb to do from Bourg Saint Maurice if you have time (as we did, because we already did the other four cols from Bourg Saint Maurice). If you have less time, I would do one of the others, but the climb itself is very nice! The kilometer signs lead you to Les Arcs 1800, but then the climb is 15 km. If you go to Les Arcs 2000 the climb is as described above. Asphalt is ok, traffic is fine to do. Les Arcs 1950 and 2000 are pretty nice places with nice views. If you are in the area and have time I would the climb to Les Arcs 2000 certainly not lie!
