During my passage, I hardly encountered any traffic, so it is quite nice to ride there when it is calm.
The strip is nowhere too steep, the length is rather a 'silent killer' if you flare it up a few times.
Tijdens mijn passage kwam ik er amper verkeer tegen, dus het is er best fijn rijden als het er kalm is.
De strook is nergens te steil, de lengte is eerder een 'stille moordenaar' als je hem enkele keren opvlamt.
Start of the climb next to the railway bridge over the Leuven-Dijle Canal. Long left turn followed by ascending straight part right through the residential area Wilsele, ideal for cycling on the big plateau.

Start van de klim naast de spoorwegbrug over het kanaal Leuven-Dijle. Lange linkse bocht gevolgd door oplopend recht stuk dwars door de woonwijk Wilsele, ideaal om op de grote plateau te fietsen.
Uitloper na de top komt op Mechelse Steenweg uit in de buurt van het hoogste punt van de Keizersberg/Boulenberg.
Verwierf bekendheid toen hij deel uitmaakte van de plaatselijke stadsronde op het WK Wielrennen 2021.
A climb I rarely or never do because the crowds and especially the many parked cars on both sides provide dangerous situations. If you have to be in Leuven it is a nice climb but not as a tourist. Besides Leuven is best avoided as a cyclist.
Een beklimming die ik zelden of nooit doe want de drukte en vooral de vele geparkeerde auto's langs beide kanten zorgen voor gevaarlijke situaties. Wie daar in Leuven moet zijn is het wel meegenomen als klim maar niet als toerist. Trouwens Leuven kan je best vermijden als fietser.
