Kind of inclined to agree with StevenVGH on this one. Yup - the smell of the pines could just about transport you to the Alps but, as he says, its straight with not much else to see. Ride, tick the box and enjoy the descent.

In terms of gradients, you imagine yourself on a real Alpine or Pyrenean col. That's the only comparison you can make between Leith Hill and these giants, because apart from that this climb doesn't have too much going for it. Nice climb - yes - but it is personally too straightforward in the literal sense of the word: an almost dead straight route, for the most part surrounded by a dense line of trees that hinders the views. In addition, the resulting tunnel effect soon gives a stifling feeling, but hopefully not in your legs!

From the Prudential Ride 2019, "classic" in the UK, sprinters ball. Beautiful scenery, note: driving on the left, but you get used to it quickly!
Quiet road, nice to do.
