After the undulating Defence Road, this is another very nice dessert in beautiful surroundings. Depending on how much you gave on the defence road, this climb is either a nice addition or just pretty tough.
Na de glooiende Defensieweg is dit nog een alleraardigst toetje in een mooie omgeving. Afhankelijk van hoeveel je hebt gegeven op de defensieweg is deze klim of een leuke toevoeging of gewoon best wel lastig.
A short but very nice climb up a good tarmac road through the forest. After the first bend, you see the road rising nicely in a straight line in front of you after which a few flatter but nice bends follow.
Een korte maar wel een heel lekker klimmetje over een goede asfaltweg door het bos omhoog. Na de eerste bocht zie je de weg lekker in een rechte lijn voor je uitstijgen waarna nog enkele vlakkere maar leuke bochten volgen.
A nice, short climb that you can do on the big slab, but you don't just pop it up. You already take some speed from the descent of the Defensieweg; pay attention you have to give right of way when turning left. The descent is also a nice walk through the forest.
Een leuke, korte beklimming die je wel op de grote plaat kan doen, maar je knalt hem niet zomaar op. Je neemt al een beetje snelheid mee uit de afdaling van de Defensieweg; let wel op je moet voorrang verlenen bij het linksaf slaan. Ook de afdaling is lekker lopend door het bos.
Lovely little climb! Especially the bit just before the "kink" is a bit of a challenge, but then it goes on for quite a while (actually further than indicated on this site).
Heerlijk klimmetje! Vooral het stukje net voor de "knik" is even aanzetten, maar daarna loopt hij nog een heel stuk door (eigenlijk verder dan op deze site is aangegeven).
