My Garmin split this climb into 2 separate climbs, which I understand due to the 2km descent after 4km. The second part in particular was a good (new) introduction to a longer climb for me. The road is quite nice, quiet and generally stays at achievable percentages.

I did the mur des ardennes and it was a relief (as all the rest are giant calves) but also very nice as there was little traffic on most parts, very smooth running so ideal to have a chat and quite beautiful surroundings.

Not worthwhile scenically compared to other climbs from Spa. But because of the, for the Ardennes, above average length and the varying percentages, with sometimes descending parts, it is a nice work-out if you are in the neighbourhood.
