The cobbles on the first part are pretty good and the steepest part is in the forest near the top, where there is asphalt. So not too challenging and the views are not great either (you ride mostly between houses). But good alternative to leave the main road that runs parallel to the motorway for a while.
De kasseien op het eerste deel liggen vrij goed en het steilste stuk ligt in het bos dicht bij de top, waar er asfalt is. Geen al te grote uitdaging dus en ook het uitzicht is niet geweldig (je rijdt vooral tussen de huizen). Maar wel goed alternatief om even de hoofdweg te verlaten die parallel loopt met de autostrade.
Cobbles are reasonable except on the steepest stretch where they are really far apart. If you pick the right pace doable. At the end you come to nice tarmac through beautiful forest
Kasseien liggen redelijk behalve op het steilste stuk waar ze echt ver uiteen liggen. Als je het juiste tempo kiest goed te doen. Op het eind kom je op mooi asfalt door mooi bos
Climb done on 18/07/21. First 800meter cobblestones, then nice piece of asphalt between the trees. Occasionally ride in the gutter because these cobblestones really don't run well.
Klim gedaan op 18/07/21. Eerste 800meter kasseien, daarna mooi stuk asfalt tussen de bomen. Af en toe in het gootje rijden want deze kasseien lopen echt niet lekker.
Falls under the category 'once and never again'. Just did not pay attention when drawing the tour and then there is suddenly a cobblestone slope ... If you absolutely do not know of cobblestones, this is really bummer. The gutter is usable in some places but nevertheless it's a big disappointment.
Valt onder de categorie 'één keer en nooit meer'. Even niet opgelet bij het uittekenen van het toertje en dan zit er opeens een kasseihelling in... Als je absoluut niet van kasseien moet weten is dit wel echt balen. Het gootje is hier en daar wel bruikbaar maar desondanks flink op afgezien.
