Challenging cobblestone section due to the slight inclination. The cobblestones are in good shape at the beginning, until halfway you encounter a futile attempt to asphalt the place, resulting in disastrous road surface. Even the tarmac sides are in bad shape. Towards the end, the cobblestones are better. Nevertheless, a nice climb to see off. Thimougies is by the way a beautiful village with a small church square (also paved of course), a mill and other nice climbs in the neighbourhood.
