Particularly varied climb in terms of road surface with quite a few altimeters in the built-up area of Laurensberg. The climb starts on a good cycle lane along a slightly winding local connecting road (with little traffic). After turning left, you get a purebred cobbled strip of Belgian character, which passes some nice old buildings and also quite a bit of greenery. After the slight descent, the 'Belgian' cobblestones change to 'German': smaller in size and laid circularly but still quite bumpy. Through a green residential area you follow the road past the beautiful church after which the last bit is asphalt again. just after the summit you can go in all directions in terms of cycling.
