A must-do if you want to do the climbs of the Kempens Plateau because this is the climb with the most points and the most altimeters. Adding the fact that it runs through a beautiful forest and has a really tough section obviously counts.
The approach from Terhills Resort is a bit hard to find but accessible (it is also an approach route for the MTB routes). Past the restaurant, follow the road between the cottages until you see an exit on the right (there is also a 2nd exit you can also take). Here an asphalt cycle path starts into the forest which rises relaxed along some bends. After the last bend, you suddenly see the "real" climb looming in front of you and it is really impressive for this area. Quite a bit against the 10% and the last bit even steeper. A real challenge. After the steep stretch, it is soon finished cycling.
Continuing straight on in the direction of As also leads to a very nice cycling path.
