This climb is characterised by its steepness and straight road. Straight down from the village of Lorsbach, there is a steep ramp over cobblestones, after which you can see the climb ahead of you like a ladder to heaven and it doesn't get any flatter; even after the bend in the forest, there is only slight relief. If you want to tackle the steepest climbs in the Taunus, you can't miss the Lorsbacher Stich - affectionately known as the "Muur von Lorsbach"!
