The percentages (except the middle part) are nowhere too heavy, but you can just as well ride yourself to death here on a blue Monday with the wind at your head and lead in your legs.

De percentages (behalve het middenstuk) zijn nergens te zwaar, maar je kan je hier evengoed piepedood rijden op een blauwe maandag met wind op kop en lood in de benen.
Highly recommended if you're cycling in Leuven and want to make your legs hurt. If you like to cycle quietly and enjoy the views, I wouldn't recommend this one. The climb up the Lange Lo is a dead straight slope on a bad asphalted and busy road where cars are breathing down your neck. The climb itself is not too bad with only in the middle some higher percentages. Also as a descent you have to be careful because the cars drive much slower than you in the descent.
Een aanrader als je in het Leuvense fietst en de benen even pijn wil doen. Wil je graag rustig fietsen en genieten van de uitzichten, dan zou ik deze afraden. De beklimming van de Lange Lo is een kaarsrechte helling op een slecht geasfalteerde en drukke weg waar de auto’s je in de rug zitten te hijgen. De klim zelf valt wel mee met enkel in het middenstuk wat hogere stijgingspercentages. Ook als afdaling is het hier opletten want door de slecht liggende verkeersdrempels rijden de auto’s heel wat trager dan jij in de afdaling.
Indeed a very long climb in the Hageland and actually it already starts going up from the center of Sint-Pieters-Rode. The road itself is very wide and certainly not the prettiest, but with a southern wind it's a tough climb even though there's not much climbing going on.
Inderdaad een zeer lange klim in het Hageland en eigenlijk begint het al bergop te lopen vanaf het centrum van Sint-Pieters-Rode. De weg zelf is heel breed en zeker niet moeders mooiste maar met zuidenwind is het hier stoempen ook al stijgt het nergens veel.

Een van de langste beklimmingen in de buurt van Leuven. Het is verder gewoon een rechttoe rechtaan weg zonder mooi uitzicht.
