In terms of scenery, this is an excellent climb as you cycle up through a beautiful valley. Unfortunately, it was on a connecting road that was very busy, partly because of Sunday traffic and also because the other road to Simmerath is closed. This did not make the climb very pleasant but it may be that it is much quieter on other days.
Qua omgeving is dit een prima klim want je fietst door een mooi dal naar boven. Helaas wel over een verbindingsweg die erg druk was, mede vanwege zondagsverkeer en ook omdat de andere weg naar Simmerath is afgesloten. Dat maakte de klim niet echt aangenaam maar het kan zijn dat het op andere dagen stukken rustiger is.
