Less good experience with this climb than the first two reviews. The climb actually takes 5 km. Then you are also at the highest point (about 1700 m).
Climb is irregular and the road surface is also poor. Especially with the descent, this bothers you. Do you cycle this climb on a day in the summer holidays? Then the verge around the end of the climb is full of hikers' cars. So a lot of traffic in summer.
On the day of the climb, the summit shrouded in clouds. View then is zero.

Did this climb after the Col de la Morte, very quiet climb with generally good road surface. If you're out of the woods you are rewarded with beautiful views. From the parking lot there is a narrow gravel road to the lake, where you look out on a beautiful rock formation, which is not visible from the Col de la Morte. If you descend again to the Col de la Morte you will first have to climb two pieces, with some steep meters.

Fantastic climb - nice addition to the col de la Morte. On our GPS it was 9km to the lake, and not 5. The 11% was correct, but all in all doable as a combination. From the foot of la Morte you have 1500 altimeters on it, but very worthwhile. Beautiful views, great peace - really recommended
