When cycling up the Cormet de Roselend from Beaufort, you can take this short side road to the hidden reservoir as an extra.
At the end of the series of hairpin bends against the shady forest flank, you leave the Cormet route on the left after 11 km, a few hundred metres before the Col du Méralliet. It continues gently winding uphill on narrow road, which in my case was littered with cow patches, and with views of some beautiful waterfalls.
At the end, there is a short unlit tunnel with faint curve and poor road surface after which, in the downhill that follows, the reservoir appears. Asphalt stops right next to the lake. There is hardly any traffic and no supplies.

Nice extra to small reservoir hidden in the mountain massif, part of hydroelectricity network around the big Lac de Roselend.

One of the least interesting passes in the area but we can't complain because it's a pass that pushes us to our limits!
