The climb starts off quite easy, but there's a very steep section in the middle. My Garmin was showing 20％ gradient at times and it certainly felt like it. There are actually two such walls close together, so you have to be careful or risk blowing up (like I did).
Not much scenery for the most part, since there's mostly just forest, but you do go through a village or two and a few open fields. Hardly any traffic.
The end is actually the best part as you wind your way until you reach the church.
If you want a more relaxed option, check out the alternative route. It has more traffic, but the road is wide and never very steep.
