The first part is a good gravel road but since it is still fairly flat there, it is still doable. As soon as you turn right, you are on tarmac and the percentages go up considerably and it gets worse when you take the first little road (you pass it in no time) to the left. For this region, a really tough slope - which is very short, though. You end up on a (very quiet) frontage road. Turning left here yields some extra altitude metres.
