Fairly long climb by Polish standards

It's a popular destination for cyclists from Krakow. If you are lucky enough, you can encounter pro cyclists like Rafał Majka or Szymon Tracz (EF Education) or one of the best cross-country skiers ever: Justyna Kowalczyk.

The climb starts on the right side of the Raba River in the large village of Pcim. The climb ends at the mountain hut in a clearing in Kudłacze. It is a kind of "dead end" climb. The beginning is almost flat, while the end is very tough.

The start is very easy. You ride gently uphill for about half the way. The surface is of very good quality. The gradient becomes more difficult after the signposts. The gradient is steep for a couple of bends and you can get quite tired. It continues slightly downhill and then gently uphill again for a while. It is a good place to rest before the hard finish. In the last few metres, the asphalt changes to potholes and concrete slabs. This section is fortunately quite short, but steep. Behind it,... read more
