Not very special, but a nice longer climb. A few times you think you're already at the top, but that is not always true. Pay attention at the house with a thousand garden gnomes, here you have to turn left and you're not yet up. Crossing to the Hallerbos is recommended for a nice relaxed ride!
Niet heel erg bijzonder, maar wel een lekkere wat langere klim. Een paar keer denk je dat je al boven bent, maar dat is steeds niet waar. Opletten bij het huis met duizend tuinkabouters, hier moet je naar links en ben je ook nog niet boven. Doorsteken naar het Hallerbos is aan te raden voor een mooie ontspannen rit!
Long runner, actually nowhere steep, rather tempo 'climb'. Personally I didn't like it very much: no super views, no super road surface. Good to have done it once but won't include it in my route again.
Lange loper, eigenlijk nergens steil, eerder tempo-'klim'. Ik vond 'm persoonlijk niet geweldig: geen super uitzichten, geen super wegdek. eens goed om gedaan te hebben maar zal hem niet meer opnieuw opnemen in parcours.
This climb is rather simply called the "Trompstraat". The Krekelenberg is the narrow side street of the Dokter Spitaelslaan on the other side of the hill.
Nevertheless it's the most difficult part of the slope. You reach it by turning left at the canal near the lock Lembeek. Here you turn left into the Spitaelslaan and right into the Blekerijstraat behind the buildings. Further on straight ahead where it starts to climb slightly.
The climb itself can be divided into three steep bends, which you should pedal in intervals. Pay attention when turning left at the T with the Kasteelbrakelsesteenweg. Car and bike traffic can come at you quickly, although you have priority. From here on it's the last stretch and you can continue straight ahead to admire the hyacinths in the Hallerbos.
Deze beklimming wordt eerder gewoon de "Trompstraat" genoemd. De Krekelenberg is het smal zijstraatje van de Dokter Spitaelslaan aan de andere flank van de heuvel.
Niettemin de zwaarste variant van de helling. Je bereikt hem door af te slaan aan het kanaal ter hoogte van sas Lembeek. Hier dan links de Spitaelslaan volgen en rechts achter de bebouwing de Blekerijstraat inslaan. Verder rechtdoor waar het al licht begint te klimmen.
De klim zelf kan onderverdeeld worden in drie stevige knikjes die je best in intervallen op de trappers kan oprijden. Opgepast bij het links afslaan op de T met de Kasteelbrakelsesteenweg. Auto- en fietsverkeer kan hier al eens snel afkomen, alhoewel je voorrang hebt. Van hieraf aan zijn het de laatste loodjes en kan je rechtdoor rijden om de hyacinten in het Hallerbos te bewonderen.

According to Cotacol, one of the most uneven roads in the whole of Brabant (both Flemish and Walloon). The road is in rather bad condition on some sections. The climb is quite irregular, although never very steep, but overall pleasant to climb. Narrow road at the beginning, wider after the T-junction at the kilometre marker. Be careful at this T-junction, visibility on the left is reduced and vehicles can pass quickly...
Selon Cotacol, une des fortes dénivellations de tout le Brabant (flamand comme wallon). Chaussée en assez mauvais état sur certains tronçons. Montée assez irrégulière bien que jamais très pentue, mais globalement agréable à grimper. Route étroite au début, plus large après l'intersection en T du kilomètre. Prudence d'ailleurs à cette intersection en T, la visibilité à gauche est réduite et les véhicules peuvent passer vite…
