Just a nice little climb from a beautiful river valley. In the descent from Brand, you can already gain some metres but you have to be careful in the side road after the bridge. Moreover, you can just catch the first part but you will have to cycle up the steep part under your own power. So it is not very efficient. After the steep part, Krauthausen is visible and you have to cycle to the end. Looking back, you have a nice view.
Gewoon een lekker klimmetje vanuit een fraai rivierdalletje. Met de afdaling vanuit Brand kan al wat meters pakken maar het is oppassen bij de zijweg nar na de brug. Bovendien pak je dan net het eerste gedeelte maar het steile stuk zal je toch echt op eigen kracht op moeten fietsen. Heel veel rendement heeft het dus niet. Na het steile stuk is Krauthausen zichtbaar en is het uitfietsen naar het eind. Achterom kijkend heb je een mooi uitzicht.
You always come here with good speed, but unfortunately it is still a bit of attention because of the side road. Yet you can reasonably launched the first piece by. The steep part is still some work, but not very long.
Je komt hier altijd met lekker wat snelheid aan, maar het is helaas nog wel even opletten door de zijweg. Toch kun je het eerste stuk redelijk gelanceerd doorkomen. Het steile stuk is alsnog wel even werken, maar niet super lang.
