Beautiful but very erratic climb and a must for every Spaniard in the area. The first part of the climb is relatively quiet and the road is quite wide, especially by local standards. After the even descent comes the erratic part with percentages of climb well over 20% alternating with some lighter parts but constantly heavy mainly due to the changing gradients. Here, the road surface is narrow and also impaired by work and agricultural vehicles. The region is phenomenally beautiful and this climb is a must if you are in the area.
