Not the most difficult climb imaginable but very varied. You think I'm there and descend a bit and then suddenly it's the steepest part of the whole climb. At the top if you do not go for the strava challenge is a bench with a great view!
Niet de lastigste klim denkbaar maar wel zeer gevarieerd. Je denkt ik ben er en daalt even en dan is het ineens he steilste stuk van de hele klim. Bovenaan als je niet voor de strava challenge gaat is een bankje met een geweldig zicht!
While zigzagging the gradient gently increases towards Sint-Goriks-Oudenhove, but you can always stay on the high side. Past the village you descend for a while, followed by a short but steep kink that leads you to the top. After 2 km of climbing you will feel that slight nudge.
Little traffic, perfect surface & a beautiful view. One of my favorite climbs!
Al zigzaggend loopt het hellingspercentage zachtjes op richting Sint-Goriks-Oudenhove, maar je kan altijd op het groot blad blijven. Voorbij het dorp daal je even af gevolgd door een kort maar pittig knikje dat je naar de top leidt. Dat knikje zal je na 2km klimmen sowieso voelen.
Weinig verkeer, perfecte ondergrond & een mooi uitzicht. Een van m'n favoriete klims!
Don't misunderstand the name of this climb, it is certainly not short. The tarmac gradually climbs up to the village where you are treated to the steepest part. Nice to take with you towards the really tough climbs of the Flemish Ardennes.
Mispak je niet aan de benaming van deze klim, kort is die zeker niet. Het asfalt loopt geleidelijk op tot in het dorp waarna je getrakteerd wordt op het steilste stuk. Leuk om mee te nemen richting de echt zware klimmen van de Vlaamse Ardennen.
This climb doesn't mean much. If they hadn't painted the 'Flandrien Challenge' on the asphalt, you wouldn't realize you were riding it.
Deze klim stelt niet zo veel voor. Als ze op de asfalt niet de 'Flandrien Challenge' zouden geschilderd hebben, zou je niet beseffen dat je er over reed.
Long climb, third longest in the Flemish Ardennes. The climb seems easy at first but by the time you reach Sint-Goriks-Oudenhove it goes up to 5 to 6％. Then it descends for a while but then you turn left and between the trees there is a small hairpin turn against the 10％.
Lange klim, derde langste van de Vlaamse Ardennen. De klim lijkt eerst makkelijk maar tegen je bij Sint-Goriks-Oudenhove bent gaat het tegen de 5 à 6％. Dan daalt het even maar dan sla je links af en begint er tussen de bomen een kleine haarspeldbocht tegen de 10％.
