Na een stukje kasseien, die je door kan vermijden door het fietspad te gebruiken, start de klim zeer mild. Na de spoorwegovergang zie je de weg plotseling redelijk steil omhoog lopen. Als de slagbomen niet gesloten zijn kan je in één ruk de smalle Korbeekdamstraat steil opklimmen. Er is tussen de bomen en op de grijze klinkers met middengoot uitsluitend in beide richtingen plaatselijk bewonersverkeer, naar de enkele villa's die er staan, toegelaten.
Naar het einde toe in een flauwe rechtse bocht vlakt de stijging af tot het groene hoogste punt.
