Climb mainly on a nice, partly hollow and mostly nicely steep cobblestone road. With a sharp hairpin turn to the right after which it continues to climb for a while. When the cobbles turn into asphalt, the climb is almost over. No views but lots of greenery around the route. As a climb actually worth 4 stars but the other climbs via the Ubbergse Holleweg are just a bit more fun.

You can alternate the Ubbergse Holleweg as a climb (and make it a little easier) by alternating 'm with the bend to the Kops Plateau. Immediately after the sharp bend it becomes a lot flatter, but it still rises. It is also much more quiet here than at the end of the Ubbergse Hollleweg. You end up on the Kops Plateau (on your right) where the Romans fortified the Limes two thousand years ago.
