Not a particularly nice climb. The street is basically an access lane to the back of gardens and garages of local residents and dead ends. Also no real nice views on the way to the top. Only on the way back do you have a nice view of the Castle Ruin. Not worth a diversion, just pop in if you happen to be in the area.
Geen bijster mooie klim. De straat is in feite een toegangsstraatje naar de achterzijde van tuinen en garages van omwonenden en loopt dood. Ook geen echte mooie uitzichten op de weg naar de top. Alleen op de terugweg heb je wel een mooi uitzicht op de Kasteelruïne. Geen omweg waard, alleen even meepikken als je toevallig in de buurt bent.
First a relaxed piece on the Daalhemerweg and then turn right into the Konijnsgracht, a dead end road behind the houses against the slope. For a while it is paved but then it becomes an asphalt road again. The road climbs steadily but in the right turn it goes up steeply. Here you may push but it soon flattens out again. On the flat piece the asphalt then turns into gravel (and eventually a footpath). On the way back nice views of a part of Valkenburg.
Eerst een stukje relaxed over de Daalhemerweg en daarna rechtsaf de Konijnsgracht in, een doodlopend weggetje achter de huizen langs tegen de helling op. Even klinkers maar daarna weer een asfaltweggetje. Het weggetje klimt gestaag maar in de bocht naar rechts gaat het even steil omhoog. Hier mag je even aanzetten maar het vlakt al snel weer af. Op het vlakke stuk gaat het asfalt dan over in gravel (en uiteindelijk een voetpad). Op de terugweg leuk uitzicht over een deel van Valkenburg.
