Actually, this is largely the same climb as the 'Kaiser Tal'. Until just past the village of Kals the climb is equal. Do you want to do the climb, then turn right after the village and wait another 7 km climbing to the top where the climb ends and a nature park begins. Motor traffic has to pay to reach the top, so it's a fairly gentle climb.
The gradient is erratic and seems a bit steeper than in the profile described on the site.
The disadvantage is that there is a sloping groove in the road surface every 20m. When climbing it doesn't matter much, but it is annoying when descending.
Still, it is a nice climb to do. In fact it is just another flank of the Grossglockner.

Eigenlijk is dit grotendeels dezelfde beklimming als de 'Kaiser Tal'. Tot net voorbij het dorpje Kals loopt de klim gelijk. Wil je de klim doen, dan sla je na het dorp rechtsaf en wacht je nog 7 km klimmen tot de top waar de klim eindigt en een natuurpark begint. Motorverkeer moet voor de top te bereiken betalen, dus het is een vrij rustige klim.
Het verloop is grillig en lijkt me iets steiler dan in het profiel beschreven op de site.
Nadeel is dat er om de 20m een schuine groef in het wegdek is. Bij het klimmen maakt dat niet veel uit, maar het is wel vervelend in het dalen.
Toch is het een fijne klim om te doen. In feite is het gewoon een andere flank van de Grossglockner.
