The first part of the climb is relatively flat and leads past some houses over asphalt into the forest. Keep right and the road surface turns to cobbles - which remains so until just before the end. The percentages go up further on and you enter the forest. At the junction with Bovenallee (you have to give way) be careful because traffic can come down from both sides. After the junction it is a short stretch until it flattens out and the summit comes into view.... read more

Spicy climb over sometimes not too well laid cobbles.
You start in a residential area and end in a recreational area.Take care when crossing Boerenallee which is often busy, with or without cyclists looking at their counters.
For time, I took the segment "training segment Hermit Road".

The written experiences and comments with/on the Hermit Road via Dennenweg are directly applicable to this variant from Pinkenbergseweg. This one you turn onto from Velp, the other coming from Rozendaal. After a few 100 m, the roads come out on the same uphill clinker road towards Kluizenaarsberg.
Take one of the two if you're doing a series of climbs on the Veluwezoom. Not the prettiest - the Boerenallee to the Kluizenaarsberg is prettier, e.g. - but quiet and tough for this area.
