The written experiences and comments with/on the Hermit Road via Dennenweg are directly applicable to this variant from Pinkenbergseweg. This one you turn onto from Velp, the other coming from Rozendaal. After a few 100 m, the roads come out on the same uphill clinker road towards Kluizenaarsberg.
Take one of the two if you're doing a series of climbs on the Veluwezoom. Not the prettiest - the Boerenallee to the Kluizenaarsberg is prettier, e.g. - but quiet and tough for this area.
