Despite the fact that the tarmac road dead-ends at the monastery (the road then becomes a dirt forest road), this is still a really nice climb. In the first part and just after the built-up area, the road rises really viciously and in the second part (a slight descent and then a relaxed final climb) you ride over a ridge with fine views. Reasonable tarmac.
Ondanks het feit dat de asfaltweg doodloopt bij het klooster (de weg wordt daarna een onverharde bosweg) is dit toch wel een heel leuke klim. In het eerste deel en net na de bebouwde kom loopt de weg echt venijnig op en in het tweede deel (een lichte afdaling en daarna een relaxte eindklim) rijd je over een heuvelrug met fraaie uitzichten. Redelijk asfalt.
