Nice climb that starts in the built-up area of Simpelveld. You then ride along the edge of the village and then into the open field. The first kilometre runs fine. Then comes the steepest part and towards the end it flattens out again. Towards the end, look around and enjoy the scenery. Top at the junction with Wissemicherweg (connecting road between Huls and Mingersborg).
Mooie klim die start in de bebouwde kom van Simpelveld. Vervolgens rij je langs de rand van het dorp en aansluitend het vrije veld in. De eerst kilometer loopt prima. Daarna komt het steilste stuk en tegen het einde vlakt het weer af. Kijk richting einde vooral eens rond en geniet van de omgeving. Top op de splitsing met de Wissemicherweg (verbindingsweg tussen Huls en Mingersborg).

Achterom kijkend een bijzonder fraai uitzicht over het Heuvelland en zelfs tot aan de Eifel.

Mooi klimmetje over een lekker rustige weg. Bij het rechtsop draaien is het even oppassen, daar zit wat een diepe geul in de weg. Bovenaan kun je linksaf slaan, voor nog net een paar extra hoogtemeters richting de molen.
