Actually, together with Holbeck Lane, this forms a 9km climb punctuated by a better running section. Kirkstone Pass runs quite smoothly and evenly uphill with 3x short pass steeper. Asphalt is quite grainy/rough but uphill this doesn't bother you much. Nice, longer climb accompanied by the typical stonewalls
Eigenlijk vormt deze samen met Holbeck Lane een klim van 9km onderbroken door een beter lopend stuk. Kirkstone Pass loopt best vlot en gelijkmatig naar boven met 3x een korte passage steiler. Asfalt is vrij korrelig/ruw maar bergop heb je hier weinig last van. Leuke, langer lopende klim begeleid door de typische stonewalls
