Fine warm-up for the big work or just as quick as a finish during a stay in Kaprun. Quiet climb with good asphalt and only the first hairpin section and the last 500m are somewhat challenging. Beware of the tourist traffic at the parking lots of the Kitzsteinhorn lifts, especially on the descent. The climb ends at the parking lot of the Stauseen, from here cyclists are unfortunately not allowed to continue and it is the same way back to Kaprun.

Not an amazing climb. We did this on our last morning, but for something to do rather than sit and wait to go to the airport.

It's a very quiet road, but is a dead end - so an out-and-back rather than a route to somewhere. At the end, there did look like an option to keep going through a gate to perhaps see some waterfalls, but a guard would not let us pass.

Lovely, quiet descent back.
