The climb is divided into two parts: for me, the lower part is the best way out of Wiesbaden into the Taunus: after Sonnenberg, the road climbs evenly and leads through the forest up to Naurod.
The second part is the climb up the Kellerskopf. The road surface is okay, but not perfect. The ascent offers very beautiful views of the Rhine plain with the Odenwald and Palatinate Forest. There is a restaurant at the summit.
Der Anstieg gliedert sich in zwei Teile: der untere ist für mich der beste Weg aus Wiesbaden heraus in den Taunus: hinter Sonnenberg steigt die Straße gleichmäßig an und führt durch den Wald hinauf nach Naurod.
Der zweite Teil ist der Anstieg auf den Kellerskopf. Der Belag ist in Ordnung, aber nicht perfekt. Der Aufstieg bietet sehr schöne Ausblicke auf die Rheinebene mit Odenwald und Pfälzerwald. Auf dem Gipfel ist ein Restaurant.
