The road has been repaved and now consists of cobblestones with 2 concrete strips on the side. The cobblestones no longer bother you here, unless you choose to do so of course ;)
De weg is heraangelegd en bestaat nu uit kasseien met 2 betonnen stroken aan de zijkant. Van de kasseien heb je hier dus geen last meer, tenzij je daar zelf voor kiest natuurlijk ;)
Coast listed in the Cotacol encyclopedia (n° 378). This climb is much more difficult than its profile would suggest. Not only is it paved, but it is oriented in such a way that the prevailing winds blow in your face...
Only to be done if you are not put off by the cobbles or the wind.

À ne faire que si vous n'êtes rebutés ni par les pavés ni par le vent.
A jewel of a climb. To ride uphill in the same gear, but at the end it picks up a lot to get around the mill. Looks a lot like the long cobblestone climbs in the Flemish Ardennes. You can't get a better feeling east of Leuven!
Pareltje van een klim. Op eenzelfde versnelling naar boven te rijden, maar op het einde pikt het stevig om de molen nog rond te krijgen. Heeft veel weg van lange kasseiklimmen in de Vlaamse Ardennen. Meer flandriengevoel kan je niet krijgen ten oosten van Leuven!
