You come out of Ename village (beautiful!) and see the mountain looming pretty quickly. There are not really very steep peaks in it but is rather consistently steep. Fortunately, the cobbles run reasonably well, so well that you can safely do this one as a descent.
Je komt uit Ename dorp (mooi!) en ziet vrij snel de berg opdoemen. Er zitten niet echt heel steile uitschieters in maar is eerder constant steil. De kasseitjes lopen gelukkig redelijk goed, zo goed dat je deze gerust als afdaling kan doen.
These are not cobblestones, rather tile. The climb itself is not steep or tough. Definitely recommended for newer cyclists! There are quite a lot of cars's though, so definitely be careful.
