This climb is good to combine in a nice tour with the schauinsland. +-90km from Freiburg. Ascent is not too difficult but also not very nice until the village of st . Peter very busy road. At the village left towards the kandel. A short descent and immediately steep right up. It flattens out a little bit to drive along a few houses. From there it gets seriously steep. And very irregular. As soon as you drive through a swinging corner (see photo) it becomes really hard. This lasts for about 2 ki... read more

This lasts for about 2 kilometers. Then it flattens out a bit. And then even completely flat. Enjoy it because the steepest kilometer is still to come. The view is definitely worth it. And a pastry and coffee at the top too. Beware of the descent, bad road surface. Direction Waldkirch. At the bottom is new asphalt. With a bit of pedalling. And don't be to afraid, you can reach the 85km p/h here.

Richting waldkirch. Onderaan ligt nieuw asfalt. Met een beetje mee trappen. En niet te bang zijn haal je hier wel de 85km p/h

Nice climb with short descent to rest the legs. Fairly strong wooded climb with here and there beautiful views.
