Deze klim gaat zoals zo velen in Oostenrijk vrijwel direct steil omhoog. Geen tijd om op adem te komen, maar de beloning is een grandioos uitzicht over het Brixental. De weg is geheel geasfalteerd en in goede staat. Momenteel (juli 2021) wegwerken rond km 2, ik kon moeiteloos passeren over gravelpad.
