Deze klim is geweldig om het dal uit te komen. Je gaat over een dorpje met kasseien aan de klim. Daarna is de weg een beetje slingerend maar steil omhoog. Langs de weg staan beelden die de Lijdensweg van Christus vertelt. Dat helpt je, want je fietst gewoon van beeldje naar beeldje. Het wegdek is geweldig en daarbij kom je ook geen verkeer tegen. Gelukkig wordt het later op de klim wel iets eenvoudiger. Je komt dan weer bovenop een prachtig plateau in de Vulkaan-Eiffel, gevuld met koolzaadvelden.
