Popular climb on a segregated cycle path through an urban environment. But generally unattractive. It is worth mentioning that the TdF 2017 rode past here;)
Beliebter Anstieg auf einem abgetrennten Radweg durch eine städtische Umgebung. Allgemein aber unattraktiv. Erwähnenswert ist, dass hier die TdF 2017 vorbei gefahren ist;)
The Jülicher Strasse is an important connecting road and can therefore be very busy (and chaotic). Fortunately, most of the climb (except the beginning) is on a separate cycle path with cobblestones that are reasonably well laid. During the climb you see (and feel) the for the most part dead straight road rising more and more, but it never gets heavy. At the end, there is a wide view to the rear.
De Jülicher Strasse is een belangrijke verbindingsweg en kan dus erg druk (en chaotisch) zijn. Gelukkig gaat het grootste deel van de klim (op het begin na) over een vrijliggend fietspad met klinkers die redelijk goed gelegd zijn. Gedurende de klim zie je de voor het grootste deel kaarsrechte weg steeds meer oplopen (en dat voel je ook) maar zwaar wordt het nergens. Op het eind ver uitzicht naar achteren.
