Nice short climb in beautiful surroundings that runs nicely. During the climb, you pass the somewhat artificial-looking San Mifguel castle and a small crater. All not that special. Once at the top, you have a great view towards the coast. Behind the mountain's name is the story of Flemish hairdresser Jef Meylemans, who has been a frequent visitor to Tenerife since 1991. The story goes that in "competitions" with cycling tourists, Jef always came first at the top of this climb. After years, Flemish tourists gave the climb the almost mythical-sounding name 'Jefkes Berg'
