An interesting climb that starts as you turn off the main road from Solina coming into Bobrka. The road is sign posted Solina-Jawor and is started with a right hand turn off the 895. There’s a short ramp up to 48m before leveling off into a short descent then the main climb starts. At about 2.2km the main road goes left so take the turn to the right, again signposted. At 2.7km turn left at the 8km to AMW Rewita sign and that’s where the road surface starts to deteriorate, it’s also where any notable traffic ends and the road becomes much quieter. To 2.7km the road surface is 9/10 but once you turn it gradually reduces to 5-6/10, perfectly ok for a lightweight race bike once you pay attention. It’s a clear run to the summit then which is reached when you see the standard hill with car and 10% gradient downwards sign. All in all an enjoyable and moderately challenging climb but don’t expect to set any speed records on the way back down (you come back down the same road you went up) as it is a dead end road at AMW Rewita resort. A good amount of attention needs to be paid due to the challenging surface in places. Well worth the detour if you are passing through reasonably nearby.
