A fire road with a ban on motorised vehicles leads to the mountain. You can ride your bike up without worrying. The ascent starts very inconspicuously, but in the middle you have to push hard. Almost at the top, you will see a nearby quarry. The summit is marked by a fire tower (warning: climbing the tower is strictly forbidden!). From the summit we have some interesting options for descending and combining the climbs into loops. I recommend carrying your ID/ID with you - as this is a border are... read more

I recommend carrying your ID/ID with you - as this is a border area, patrols can stop and check that you're ok. Other than that, it's a beautiful area with minimal traffic and amazing narrow climbs amidst lush vegetation.
